ACCOMMODATION
Comprising four guest rooms, The Old Stone House can accommodate up to nine guests.
Guest rooms at The Old Stone House are climate controlled with air conditioning in our first floor rooms for the summer months and hydronic heating in all rooms for the cooler months. Each room offers storage and suitcase racks and the beds are equipped with electric blankets to take the chill off the 100% cotton sheeting before settling in for the night.
Accommodation is included as standard for one night in the ceremony and reception package.
ELM
The Elm Room acquired its name from the lone tree that stands on the lawn beneath this room. This golden elm turns a glorious yellow in autumn and is thick and green in the spring and summer months. The Elm Room is located on the first floor and features a queen size antique brass bed.
The en suite has an antique bath (with shower overhead) made by Archibald Kenrick & Son, est. 1791. It is large enough for two adults to relax comfortably in making this the perfect romantic experience.
OAK
The Oak Room is named after the large and beautiful ribbon oak tree at the front of the property. Located on the first floor, this is the largest room and can be used for double, twin or triple occupancy. The room features two white cast iron beds - one queen size and one single.
This room does not have an en suite attached to the room; the private bathroom is located just across the hall. All guests staying in the Oak Room are provided with luxury bath robes for their convenience.
WISTERIA
The Wisteria Room takes its name from the incredible silky wisteria growing along the side of the house. This room is located on the first floor with views of the wisteria and the lush foliage of the large ribbon oak at the front of the property.
The Wisteria Room features a cast iron double four poster bed with canopy and includes an antique footstool for those guests who might require a step up! The en suite has a bath with shower overhead that’s perfect for soaking in.
WILLOW
The Willow Room takes its name from the large weeping willow tree on the property. This room is located on the ground floor of the house with views of the large ribbon oak out the front. It is the only room with a shower only in the ensuite. For these reasons this room is better suited for guests with mobility issues.
The Willow Room is tastefully decorated with period furnishings including a white enamel queen sized bed and an antique love seat.
